Twitter is a widely used platform that is used by businesses, politicians, and casual everyday people. It is an interface used for microblogging and is a popular social media site/app. Users can customize a profile and follow other users or categories of things that they like or may have an interest in. On the website, you can tweet, like, and retweet, you can also tweet at people and/or comment on other people’s tweets. Twitter is a very useful tool for updating people on current events. In recent news, Twitter has been used for the recent election and spreading the campaigns of each participant. The site and the major news networks that use it were updating users on who was in the lead and eventually who won the election. WikiHow is a website used to search step by step instructions on how to do something, whether that be performing a task or following a recipe. WikiHow is a teaching tool consisting mainly of how-to articles. The website is full of tutorials that include more than one way to do something. For example multiple different chocolate chip cookie recipes or how to fix something specific to a certain vehicle. WikiHow’s website is a large community of creators who can edit each other’s wiki pages and codes if they have an account. A page can only be published if the wikiHow staff approves it. A WikiHow page can only be approved if the editors from the website deem the information you wrote about accurate. The code to “ How to Make Score Bars ”, is referenced using a mirrored code from another WikiHow recipe, “ How to Make Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies ”.
